LARRY STUART
There aren’t many people that can say they’ve graduated from Cornell, successfully increased profits in over 100 major food service operations in the U.S. and Caribbean and danced at the Playboy Club. Meet Larry Stuart. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration, Larry brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality management and marketing. And when it comes to breakthrough ideas in creative restaurant design, development, marketing strategies, management and execution, there’s simply no better guy in the business.
As CEO and president of Larry Stuart Hospitality (LSH), he is currently directing projects for clients such as Loews Hotels at Universal Studios Florida (Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific Resort), Dick Clark American Bandstand Hotel & Restaurants, Caffe Siena, Caldo Trattoria and Enoteca.
Previously, Larry directed the 12-restaurant, Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort launch, and facilitated projects that included Finn's Grill at the Hilton at Walt Disney World, Park Plaza Gardens, Manuel's on the 28th, Hue, NASCAR Café at Universal's CityWalk. He also serves as customer service specialist for MotorCity Casino, Hilton Hotels, The Peabody Hotel and Southwest Airlines.
His success in exceeding guest expectations has created professional partnerships in business entities that he owns, including Wyland Galleries of Florida, a five-unit gallery chain grossing $5 million annually, and the downtown Orlando Embassy Suites food service operation, with annual sales topping $3 million.
Larry has held a five-year professorship at Valencia Community College, Orlando, Florida, and continues to partner with Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, where he is engaged as the president of the Cornell Hotel Society here in Florida. He has been keynote speaker for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and continues his quest in giving back with other key industry organizations. He shares his success stories and passes along some humble words of wisdom to the next generation of hospitality superstars. Lucky them.
